The nation had been in a season of uncertainty. Political debates filled television screens, and citizens argued endlessly about the direction of the country.

One Sunday morning, Prophet David Owuor stood before his congregation looking unusually serious. The church was packed, and whispers spread through the crowd as people noticed his solemn expression.

“My brothers and sisters,” he began, “last night I had a dream unlike any I have ever experienced.”

The congregation fell silent.

“In the dream, I found myself standing on a vast mountain overlooking our beloved Kenya. The sky was bright, and a voice spoke to me clearly. The voice said, ‘Do not be troubled by the struggles of the nation. I have chosen a leader to guide these people.’”

Prophet Owuor explained that in the dream he saw President William Ruto standing among ordinary citizens, shaking hands and listening attentively to their concerns. The president was surrounded by a golden light, symbolizing wisdom, responsibility, and servant leadership.

“The voice declared that this president had been given a special responsibility,” the prophet continued. “Not because he was perfect, but because he was expected to serve the people faithfully and lead the nation with diligence.”

The congregation listened carefully as he described scenes of peace, prosperity, and unity. Schools were thriving, businesses were growing, infrastructure was expanding, and communities were working together despite their differences.

However, the prophet also delivered an important message from the dream.

“The voice reminded me that no earthly leader rules forever,” he said. “Every leader remains accountable to God and to the people they serve. The blessing upon a nation depends not only on its leaders but also on the character, honesty, and unity of its citizens.”

Some church members had expected Prophet Owuor to declare that President Ruto was destined to rule indefinitely. Instead, he clarified that the dream was about responsibility, service, and humility rather than unlimited power.

“The lesson I received,” he concluded, “was not that any human being should rule forever. The message was that leaders must govern with humility and fear of God, while citizens must pray for wisdom, justice, and peace in our nation.”

The congregation left the church discussing the dream. Some focused on the hopeful vision of Kenya’s future, while others reflected deeply on the reminder that leadership is a sacred trust rather than a permanent entitlement.

And from that day forward, Prophet Owuor encouraged people not to place their faith solely in politicians, but to work together, pray, and build the prosperous Kenya they wished to see.
